Hello,

I'm thinking about making the CS section moderated. That means, that new threads are to be validated first before they can be seen. By validating, I or the mods will fix the threadtitle, move wrong threads to correct section and make sure the thread is presentable.

What's your stance? Maintain a higher quality of posts but see new threads later OR keep current system where threads can be seen by anyone as soon as they're posted?

Greets,
BiGFiST

If the sets are queued for validation it would be a good idea to make the list clearly visible for everyone. Otherwise members could upload a set not knowing someone else just posted it. Plus it may be good teasing, people will know which sets they will soon see on this site.
You could also indicate the resolution of those sets (although I don't know if it's possible to automatically detect the picture size). I don't really see the point reposting the same set in the same resolution (to have a backup version in case links are deleted maybe) but it may be a good thing when someone posts it in a different resolution. I guess that most of us want the High-Res version but some with a low connection might prefer the Mid-Res one.
What would be the delay before the sets are visible on the site ? If it's too long there won't be anything new to look at before several hours.

I agree with shai_hulud that we should know the sets in the "waiting list" to avoid duplicates (that won´t be seen but will be upload), other than that I like the idea of having a common description of the sets.
