why the fuck do you hide the links?!?! i know that you want that your work of uploading be recognized but COME ON!!! you are making so much mess of this forum ... i use to like this forum a lot but now its all a mess , its ridiculous that if i seen a video that i liked in page 3 and put an answer and now it appears in page 1!! what the fuck?!?! it all disorganized!!! i dont know if other people feel like me ... please comment ....
PS: i like the idea of thanking the uploader but obviously not the one of moving the post all crazy ... its ruining the forum!!! -------------------------------- |

i do it because if i upload something, i don't want it buried on page 10 after some other person posts a bunch of 1-minute streaming videos. it ensures that threads that people like are shown on page one, which is how forums work. and that's not the thing that's ruining this forum, it was ruined once it was taken out of lws.
Once the current vid gets 200+ replies, a new video will be posted.

Are they new members with just a short life here and only a handful of posts who come to just grab the vids and then leave, offering nothing and just consuming, or are they being taken by the seasoned members here who have been here for some time and have given back to the group, and help keep it growing and moving forward, or is it a mixture of both...??

I personally like the hide option. Having to post to see something that a user uploaded to whatever site is a rather nifty way of getting that user some feedback. I would like it if more sites had this feature. Not that I'm a member of that many sites, but the few that I am a member of I would appreciate having this feature. Also I know I'm new here but the only way to become known is to post replies
and hopefully to become a worthwhile member of a community.

This is just how forums work, and I think it's a great system. It keeps the good videos on the front page. It's not meant to be a static ordering system. If even if threads just stayed in the order they were first posted, they would still move, as more threads are started they would move farther back.
If you find a video you like and want to see again, just subscribe to the thread. You can also use the search button to find it. These are both much easyer ways to keep track of videos you like. |

I don't like the link hiding thing either - I've posted a few replies and still can't see the hidden links! I just a get a placeholder {param} and that's it

I think the system isn't a bad idea, but it just seems to break every now and then and all I can see is {param} where the hidden link should have been
