Just addressing a couple problems with FCS

I'm going to try and make this seem not like a whine, I'm just going to address some of the problems I see with FCS (Just my opinion, after you read what I say I encourage you to reply with yours and maybe even brainstorm some ideas).

This place seems dead. But it is really brimming with activity. If you go to the videos section you'll see that the majority of threads have hundreds of views and only a few replies. I really think something should be done get people from jerking off in the shadows and out into the light, to get this place moving. If a reply to see the link hack was implemented, this place would show its true colours in regards to activity. Hell, even I have only replied a few times with thanks. Why? Because I was lazy.

Another problem I have: You don't even have to be a member and you can still bust a nut. The only difference between joining this place and staying a guest is the videos forum, which to some people (like myself) is important, but alot of people only care about images. There are currently 22 members and 14 guests online. I bet those 14 guests are jerking it to something in one of the image/hentai forums. I think you should at least have to be a member here to see all of the forums.

This one I don't have an answer for. Obviously its hard to make people share their porno here, because there is no real incentive other then maybe one or two replies of thanks and the thought that you are providing porn to the masses. I think an incentive is needed to keep this place constantly busy with new threads, but I really don't think FB's and PDL's should be it. I don't get how FB's would work here. On LWS people just made posts in the discussion forums for their SP, and then used that SP to buy porno. But there are no discussion forums here. The only way to earn FB's is to post threads, which could work well as you would have to provide content to download other peoples, but then again for some people I'm sure this is their only source of decent porno.

I don't have any good ideas to get people to come out and post their stash, but I really think that a currency based system isn't a good idea. I like the idea of sharing as opposed to buying/selling (even if it is imaginary internet dollars).

Those are just my thoughts, I'd like to hear yours.

There was a store avaliable back in the old days of LWS where people could buy knives, dvds, lighters, and all sorts of crap. I'm pretty sure they are still planning out the kinks but I hope something like the store develops soon. I'm still reserving my porn until the PDL system is developed and a store is made. For now, there just isn't any incentive to post any porn.

I agree with much of that, but there is also the matter of imagefap. Now I know that a lot of it is good content in the end, but if you compare PoB on LWS to the Pics section here, the LWS was far better. Why? Because it wasn't full of imagefap links. A lot of the time it isn't even peoples own stuff they are uploading, they just go to imagefap, type in a random keyword and just post the first 3 things that come up. I know there is no way to check if people are putting 2 second of effort in or uploading their own stuff to imagefap, and I understand that banning imagefap is not a viable option, but I do feel that something should be done.

95% of threads in the Pictures section is just imagefap galleries, I can't even remember the last time that there was a thread with non-thumbnail pictures in them. I posted few threads myself a while back with images in them rather then thumbnails, but i just gave up because they kept being pushed off the page by threads with imagefap galleries.

I agree with just about everything.

The threads need to use the lock down code. Cause threads have hundreds or views and no/if any replys. Really kinda bums me out, cause it nice to have people say "thanks" or "nice job".

All the threads except softer side, should only be able to seen if you are a member.

PDLs I don't see working here cause you only get FB for making threads and not everyone can make threads. Also people are eventually going to hike up their prices and only a selected few are going to be bale to buy them.

I think the lock down code should be used, something "fun"/useful to use FB on, and you have to be a member to view all the forums.

I hate to play devil's advocate, but I started out on this forum as a guest... and wanting to share my collection made me want to get an account.

Granted, I'm relatively new and have only posted three vids.

Perhaps an access restriction similar to that of Rapidshares for non-members... or even for people who register but who don't upload?
