Why are videos in Hentai worth less than videos in "Videos"? I know of at least two old EB contributors who switched from Hentai to Porn for exactly this reason on the old boards, and it seems like FCS is about to make the same mistake. Something needs to be done about this, or the flow of hentai anime will grind to a halt, and all you'll be left with is poorly translated doujinshi.

Here is your answer: I'm not going to pay as much for Hentai pictures as I would for video, but at this time there isn't enough video to warrant a subforum (which would allow for higher payout).

Invite hentai fans you know, get more traffic going in that forum, and I promise you that I will make a video subforum in the Hentai area with a higher payout. Give you my word. Just gotta make it happen.

But the problem is self-created. People don't post videos because the payout isn't worth it. Admins don't make a video subforum because there's not enough videos. See what I'm getting at?

If you want the payout, work for it. Payouts only went out today. Before that, Hentai stilll had the lowest traffic out of our highest traffic forums (Videos, Photos, and Hentai). If you're only willing to post Hentai for the payout, and not because you want to see the site flourish, then you should probably go ahead and find another place to post. The more content you guys create, the better the site gets.

Hentai currently has a .03 FB payout for new threads. That's higher than the softcore or photo forums, but not as high as the videos forum, because in Hentai, both images and video can be posted.

You're right about one thing - it takes the admin and the users working together. You give me content, and I will give you payout. I'm not going to work backwards, because it's more detrimental for me to pay too much too soon than it is to let you guys build content over time.

I understand your concerns and I'm really glad that you have them. Now help me help you.
