question about trashcan

anyone know why threads are moved to the trashcan and what exactly this means?

If the threads were put in the trash, it's for a reason. Either the thread starters used banned picture hosts, either they were spam posts, or the thread's pictures were deleted. Also, from time to time, there are viruses in some links. So be careful. :)

If they are spam or have even viruses behind the links ... why not just delete the threads?

Because I got into trouble once for deleting completely a thread. Since then, I do as I'm told and move them to the trashcan. As it says, "view content at your own risk!!!"
