Thanks for this! Now if only Jennifer Love Hewitt and Lacey Chabert did topless or nude scenes, I'd be really happy.
This may sound a little odd but hopefully you can understand my train of thought.
I often wonder why some women start doing nudity after a long non nude career. Now don't get me wrong I am not against nudity but to me it signals only one thing. A last ditch effort to jumpstart a dying career. She hasn't had a big hit since the end of the Scream series of movies. Right? I think that was back in 2000. Most of her work since then has been either small tv roles or straight to dvd movie releases that often go unnoticed.
Now my reasoning may be all wrong but thats just what it seems like to me. Celebrities on the way out, tend to do things they wouldn't normally had done earlier in there careers, just to stay in the business. Nudity is the main example.
Another woman whose career came to a screeching halt was mischa bartons after the end of the tv show The O.C. So what does she do. Shows her tits in a movie because she can't get anything else.
What do you think?
Is the actress evolving or simply trying to stay afloat?
neve had a non nude clause in her party of 5 contract, when she was on the show she couldnt do any.. thats why in wild things only denise richards did

Just to let everyone know, the movie sucked. Neve's nude scene was at the end of the movie too.
you are right wallyw , I thinkk that the artists want to make headlines or show that they could do any type roles by getting nude.
Maybe it would be great if all the actresses had a 'dying' carreer ;)
