So i have ran into a bit of a problem...I can't use any d/l program mentioned in the sticky post.
I was using Image Grabber firefox addon, now it loads but but says nothing more than "Running"
So I downloaded PGRipper, the fact that I have to put in my login and password to use it was annoying but it worked great, I was impressed. Go and try to log back in after awhile and it can't access the login manager server...wtf?
Move on to IIID. Now this program looks like it has the best features and is slick looking....but it wont grab any links. So it is useless to me.
Maybe I am not configuring them right, but I have went and checked all the configurations, even to the point of dedicating a port through my firewall and routers. I even have uninstalled and reinstalled the programs and rebooted, still nothing.
Is anyone else having these problems or should I look for yet another downloading program.
I'm afraid I can't be of too much help. I only use one program, IIID, and can only get it to do part of what it should be able to do. Which is to download pics. I have to turn off my firewall to even get it to do that.

As shown in the pic. ( You love my art skills don't you.) Anyways, You paste the url of the page with the pics. You click get links. It should show up links in the middle section. Then you select folder for storage and click download files.
Other than that I'm afraid I'm as lost as you.

Try Bulk Image Downloader, works fine!
It might be easier for us to troubleshoot your issues if you provide us with details on your system and connection specs - including info on what OS your using, and any TSR apps (anti-virus, firewall, spyware detection etc) running on your machine.
Okay so here goes.
First my problem then my technical specs.
I can use IIID to download imagevenue pics just fine. I understand that the program may support downloading from other hosts but I haven't tried that yet. Most of the threads I want to get here are hosted on Imagevenue.
What I can't get to work is getting the program to grab/fetch/create the link codes for posting pics on forums.
So here's what I do. I copy and paste the url of the thread into the address bar in IIID. I have selected - get forum links and supported hostings. Next I click get links and a dialog box pops up. This is what I can't figure out. The box asks Enter set name - I enter the name of the model in the box and then always an error box pops up and says Get forum links error! Index was outside bounds of the array.
So I try selecting direct jpg links. A box pops up asking Enter set name - Each link to get contains. No matter what I enter here I always get that same error message as stated earlier.
So I am running Windows XP SP2 on HP laptop with Kaspersky Internet Security. Which I've stated earlier that has to be turned off because I can't figure out what Kaspersky keeps blocking. But that doesn't really bother me as much as not being able to figure out this @%#* program.
So any ideas?
never tried IIID...
i´m fine with IPLED for imagevenue - and for many of the useful imagehosts Bulk Image Downloader (http://www.softsea.com/review/Bulk-Image-Downloader.html) works fine even with the trial-limits.
if you consider to try it be sure to clear cache after each use (tab "configuration" - "clear cache"), otherwise your HD´s will be full pretty soon...
