not sure if anyone here is following the current situation in zimbabwe, but it's got me a little quixotic as to what will be happening in the coming months...

in case you haven't heard... president mugabe has turned to violence and substansial threats against supporters of opposition party MDC's tsvangirai. first off, the initial elections took place about a month ago and the results of the election were delayed for weeks. then, when they came out in favor of tsvangirai, current president mugabe claimed that the outcome was not enough for him to relinquish his seat in power of the country. there was to be a run-off election to re-affirm the winner of the race; and, as the vote came closer, violence and threats became more frequent and devistating to the point of tsvangirai's dropping out of the race.

personally, i think it stinks... the u.s. has a tendency to stick its nose in other people's business... but as a result of the current iraq ordeal they will be reluctant to provide as much as an opinion on what should be done.

i'm wondering what opinions you have and what you may think the outcome of the situation will ultimately be.

... hope you folks don't mind a little bit of politics with your porn, and disregard this if you do ...

Seems Mugabe won the elections!
He's a good choice if you compare him between the oppositio.. oh wait there was no opposition :no:

Its quit hard to have a opinion about such matters, you want to believe theres a peaceful solution but deep inside you know there isnt one and ifthere is it won't help

It doesn't matter what the western world does it won't change a thing; no army nor the red cross can change it.

My example for this opinion is Somalia; US fought against them (they lost though) They fought against Mohammed Farah Aidid because he was the main aggresive warlord ruling the Mog. but he died in August '96
Did anything changed now? no 4 other warlord-fractions will claim ruler which (already did) lead to more violence.
