!st post since a loooooong time, I like the way PST has grown

Share what you think is "The Worst Game Ever Made"

I personally think that DRIV3R/Driver 3 is the worst game ever made. Not only is the game play extremely horrible, but the AI is just the worst thing I have ever seen in a game, and I played many. Since when can a bush stop your car like it was a concert wall? Your character looks like a damn paper cutout.. I mean eat some meat or something. And when he is “swimming” he looks just like a surf board. His so called “stealth” summersault makes me look ever more deformed. All and all this is just a very bad game. The creators must have been on some sorta hard drug when the planned to create this.

Anyone remember "State of Emergency"? It was a Rockstar game that was just complete chaos.

Tried it because it was from the makers of Grand Theft Auto, but it really just sucked.

Enthusia. It is a racing game for PS2. The graphics are ok but the game lacks substance. It is marketed as a "street racing" game but it plays more like the old fashioned Andretti racing games.

The original Street Fighter is absolute rubbish. The only playable character is Ryu, and he doesn't have any special moves. Its also pretty much impossible to control, making matches a game of chance. There's really no skill involved.

Who could have guessed that the series would become the dynasty that it is today?

supposedly its meant to be ET, for the atari, apparently they ended up having to dump thousands and thousands of copies at the rubbish tip.

Games i've actually played. hmrm. not sure, cause generally I stopped playing them pretty quick!. Probably Heavy Gear is the worst game i've bought.

Mercs 2 is hands down the worse game for the 360 I have played. It's even worse than Star Trek Legacy.

Ah yes, I remember that pile of crap quite well. I'd bought into the hype and even preordered it through Electronics Boutique. I picked it up at 8PM, and returned it 10AM the next morning. (This was when they had the generous "new, but opened" 14 day return policy.) I told him what a pile of crap it was, he replied, "Yeah, I've heard that a lot." It turns out I was the 15th person to return the game in less than 24 hours.

Superman 64 may have been horrid, but it had neither the designer pedigree of State of Emergency, nor the hype. At no point can I recall reading previews touting the innovative nature of Superman 64. State of Emergency had a solid 3 month run of heavy hype in virtually every videogame magazine.

I had a short run as an unpaid reviewer for a website a few years ago. I've played a TON of horrid games, and believe me, there's a laundry list every year that get released. I actually played ET as a child, and yes, it's as unbelievably horrid and unplayable as stories tell.

A lot of what I'd call horrid, many people enjoyed immensely. I can't stand the entire next-Gen Metal Gear series. I don't know that Kojima himself could pay me to play it. It's not that there's anything wrong on the technical side of things. I just HATE the series. Same goes for Tomb Raider or Prince of Persia.

On the other hand, I'm willing to pay full price for most new versions of (American) sports games, even though there's rarely real innovation from year to year.

I got a game for Christmas called "Gangsters". Yeah, it looks like the programmers put about as much thought into the game as they did into the title. I never thought work would actually be preferable to playing a computer game.
