Breasts -- Large, small, and otherwise

I'm not a physiologist, so maybe someone out there knows the answer. Is there a body part that in normal adults can vary so much in size from person to person as breasts?

Think of them :-) Even without surgical help, a typical day in the subway you'll see everything from flat little As to cute, pert Bs to nice, round Cs to more-than-a-handful Ds and then some on women ranging from 5 feet tall to well over 6 feet.

Any thoughts?

Interesting observation. Now that you mention it, I can't think of any other body part that varies in size as much as female breasts.

put it this way.. there are more surgical breast enlargements than breast smallenings. Whats the point in a breast if you can't hold it in the palm of one hand? And by the way.. ever noticed, the nipples of small breasts are far harder than those of over-sized mammeries?

I would say that there are a few parts they varies widely in size but none draw the eye quite as much as breasts do.
Other parts would be ass, dick, and feet. Some parts may not come to mind as easily as others for different reasons. Often not up to there full potential, covered in clothes, Or you could say out of sight out of mind.

I say the opposite: What's the point of only a tiny hint of a breast? That's not a girl, that's a teenage boy's chest.

There is equaly as much variation in the shape and size of women's hips. In men, the variability is in the shoulders and chest. It's all part of evolutions display of genetic variability so we can spot eachother from distances.

Wizard, while there is certainly variation in women's hips, it is nowhere near as great as in their breasts. Take a 5'6" woman. She might have cute, perky A-cups. These might be about 1 cup (225 cubic centimeters). Another perfectly normal woman might be a hefty DD-cup. these could well be north of 700 ccs. While hips may vary, say from 30" (75 cm) to 40" (100 cm), this is nowhere near the more than 3X variation (probably more) in normal boobs. Now, of course, there are fatties with much larger waists, but that's not natural genetic variation, it's Big Mac-driven variation.

I'd have to say that you're right. Aside from a woman's breasts the only thing I can think of is a woman's hips. Maybe also dick size cause the diffence there can be pretty huge.
