Hello,

Is the forum currently pleasant to browse in? Do the pages load quick enough? Some tuning was done, I'm eagerly anticipating your experiences!

LOL no idea, I’m currently on a 56'er.
I had to leave a reply even if it's not constructive because no one else has!!!
Either this board is dead (advertising needed) or members here have Bad manners .

For the most part it is loading fairly fast but I do have one question. Is it possible to use the preview option when checking new posts and searched posts. I can only use it now when I go into for example CS Solo or any other main area. I think its a great feature to be able to hover over the link and see a preview and would love to see that feature expanded to the new post and search results.

we need bit more sorting now since sooo many sets r thr!
making site wise categories be nice..also easy to find sets!
i know thr is a similar feature for it but still bit of sorting be nice!!

also any thoughts on installing chatting s/w for members?

also thr is nothing to report dead posts/links etc..thr should be report option!

also we need to be bit more private..we r getting on many search engines and that how big sites find out abt thr pic sets!!don't take it the wrong way just
pls be careful!may be atleast we should be member only..no guests no leechers!

agree - several sites effectively closed recently due to unwanted squealing about content. This remains one of the few still allowing full sets.

pages seem to load Ok per the original question in this thread.

It really does load nicely and I love the layout... and though i haven't checked, it would be a good idea to take us off the search engines :cool:

I was doing a search the other day and the first thing listed was this board, with a link to an index, by website, of what is posted here. At that rate, it will not be long before we will become limited in what we will be able to post.

I agree.
Though I must say I was probably lucky to have been invited to this board, it should probably be member only. It's not going to take long b4 someone will complain.

About the speed, I've noticed that, for me, shareapic loads incredibly slow. The rest seems to be ok. Fastest is imagevenue.

Hi , pages load quickly enough for me . I agree we need to be careful about been easy to find through search engines though I don't know what the answer to that problem is . I'm sure somebody here will know .

hmm ..i did some findings..i found this

for exclude search engines frm listing us!!
this only stops search engines! try googling robots.txt for more!
but we need to be more private!

Like crOm4c already said there's a serious problem with pictures posted with Shareapic.net Those pages display so slowly it's almost useless
i.e. http://www.proving-grounds.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3464&page=13
and it's even worse when you want to look at the pictures full size.
Other than that everything runs very smoothly and on a more personal note I really like the design of this board, clean, neat, sober and as a poster very convenient to work with.
Regarding the "protection" of the posts you're very lucky to have BH100 who is clearly one of the best posters on the Net and I think you should do everything you can to protect his outstanding work.

right on BH100 is truely a legend in himself..man my harddisk must be
smaller than his pic posts..so many so big so great!!

link will be "http://anonym.to/?link" instead of plain old 'link' !!

btw i know posting members get promoted but can also the thanking members alos get promoted :;
also can we also be able to see how many posts a member thanked in the left side avatar area!

While I'm posting this, I see that:
Currently Active Users: 338 (26 members and 312 guests)

I'm thinking that people should have to register before being able to see anything. Perhaps that'll help the future google problem.

I'd like to 2nd the idea of enabling image previews during searches. If that's possible, that'd be handy.
