Also try this for downloading flash videos frm video sites like youtube etc etc!! https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006

after installing this when u are on page containing flash vidss...
right click on the page and see "Download Helper context menu.."..select the video u want
to download frm the menu....
the video must be paused or playing when saving it...or atleast in loading phase...

Bulk Image Downloader seems to be the most reliable I've used. It's a limited free prog, but still better than most(if not all) of the imagehost downloaders named in this thread. Get it here: http://antibody-software.com/web/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=33&Itemid=38
This link is the official website to download BID and email support for the prog if you have any issues with it. I find this prog particularly useful for downloading from radikal.ru and renaming the files as they download, plus it has a much easier interface than IIID.

Hmm... I recommend using Bulk Image Downloader. Although the free version is not full, it works quite well. Some file hosts make redirect links to their images, so I think you will need to change something in the program's options to make sure it will recognize them.

Bulk Image Downloader is the boss of all image downloaders.

It do exactly what it's supposed to do - download images from almost all imagehosts. And the new versions download full sized images from fansites also.

I have an .exe of an older version of BID that I swear I got off this site. It's less restrictive in terms of numbers of downloads etc.
Unfortunately the zip file is password protected so I can't open it and I can't remember the thread that I got it from. Does any of this sound familiar? Can anyone find original thread and password for the zip?

BID is downloading incompletely from Picfoco. The BID log looks like this:

The free version has the limitation that you can only run one instance of the program at a time. This means that you can only download from one url at a time. The paid version ($9.00 US Paypal) allows multiple instances and a few other goodies.

I wrote the software and use it all the time for downloading from PG. Since I use it all the time, I give regular updates when I find a site changes their format. It's not super fancy, but it works and I support it.

I also give free licenses to the PG board admins and mods, just PM me.

The latest update (May 19) of ImageHost Grabber appears to have fixed the problems it was having with Picfoco.

I tested it on one set of images and two weren't downloaded. I'm not sure if that was a bug in ImageHost Grabber or if there was a problem with the image host web site.
