View Full Version : A neat little way to outsmart rapidshare's download limit.

So my buddy xyr0x made a neat program for bypassing that god damn wait time on Rapidshare. This thing needs little to no user interaction. It just uses proxies automatically.

It's extremely simple to use, you just extract it, put the runtimes in the same folder as the .exe file, and it runs.

It's called Rapidhacker 2.7 and you can get it here:

I've used this many times for files uploaded here. Rapidshare has great download speeds so why wait 2 minutes to get one part of 3 files? You can just get them all at once.

Well, this is really interresing, but has anybody tried this and does it actually work?

If someone could post his/her feedback that would be much apreciated(sp?).

Yes, please everyone heed this mans warning. Some programs will install hidden viruses/trojans/spyware on your pc. The badware that could possibly be installed will slow down your pc and possibly set you up for identity theft.

In no way am I saying that the program mentioned above will install crapware, since I haven't tried it. But you should be extra careful when installing programs from unknown/untrusted sources. This can be said about codecs, toolbars, programs similar to the one mentioned above and sadly enough, new crapware installers can now appear as windows updates.

If you see a windows update pop-up and prompt you to download 'windows updates', close that window and initiate a windows update manually. This trick is looks exactly like a real windows update. The main difference is, is that it's a pop-up from an infected site. Manually starting the windows update will help to insure that are getting real M$ updates.

Linux doesn't get viruses. I'm running it through wine..

just downloadedand I am goingto put it through every virus scan, adware, spyware scan I can think of and then i'll execute it and then do it again and let you know if anything crops up.

edit: wont run and its readme file suggests messing with my system32 folder soooo i'm not gonna recomend it

this would probably also make your download wicked slow if it uses a proxy because public proxies are tremendously slow.

Good work buddy!

Since your blatant error, I explicitly put that information for those who "still" continue to say, "It doesn't work" when we ask why? It says, "msinet.ocx" isn't registered or file is missing.

It does not register any .exe does it drop anything, create et cetera.

It does however, create a .dll in the C:\ drive to work in conjunction to allow the Spoof engine to write to and from the registry to add the specified information selected in the Spoof Engine in Rapid Hacker. Clicking "Restore" will delete and restore the changes for you.

Proxy downloads to slow? It works more-so as a Gateway, rather than downloading directly through the proxy. You get your Speed, rather then the Proxy speed. :P

My integrity? google my handle. :) No complaints yet, just a bunch of envious bastards which may form some "rumor of bad integrity" But, I'm still alright when kids do this, because in reality, it is funny.
